WHAT SETS US APART

WE ARE A BIT DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS

When you visit Tyndale Bible Church (TBC), you may find us a bit different from what you are used to.

We don’t preach sermons, we teach the Bible.

We don’t have a “Bible Study Hour” followed by a “Main Service.”

We don’t have a Senior Pastor or Assistant Pastors.

We don’t take up a collection.

Aside from those points, we are just like every other Bible believing, dispensational church!

Every Sunday, we have two teachings that make up our Sunday Service. One teaching is from an Old Testament book and the second teaching is from a New Testament book.We work though each book in its entirety before moving on to another book. We teach line by line, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book.

Our Sunday service starts at 10:00 AM.We begin with announcements and then move into an extensive prayer time which one of the elders leads. Then we sing a hymn and have our first teaching. This is followed by a short break, and then we have the second teaching.Sometimes, before the second teaching, we have a man from the congregation do a short presentation on a Proverb or a Psalm. After the second teaching, we sing another hymn and we are done.

For those who want to support our ministry, we have a box where you can put your offering, or you can do it online.

Both of our teaching hours are focused study of the Bible. One focuses on the Old Testament and one on the New Testament.Sometimes the OT hour comes first followed by the NT hour and every so often (usually on a yearly or bi-yearly basis), we will switch the order so that you stay focused on God’s Word and not on who is teaching it.We actively work to avoid a “cult of personality” forming at TBC.

Our church is led (currently) by three Pastor/Elders.All three of the Pastor/Elders are equal in rank and all three teach on Sundays in an alternating pattern.Since Tyndale Bible Church is also the parent ministry of a Bible school (Tyndale Theological Seminary & Biblical Institute), we sometimes have one or more of our pastoral students in the teaching rotation as well.

Aside from those points, I guess we are just like every other Bible believing, dispensational church!

The reason I like Tyndale Bible Church is because they teach verse by verse, so that we understand a whole passage of scripture to get what was meant by the author.
